Jim Price joined the firm in June, 2000 from the AEU Union and was assumed a Partner in April 2003. For fourteen years he was the national negotiator of the Union with the Health Service within which he represented Union Members at local, executive and Scottish offices levels. In addition he negotiated for both Managers and Players in the SFA. He brings to us 25 years of practical experience in Industrial Relations within the Health Service and the Oil Industry.
Jim now specialises solely in employment law primarily for employees but occasionally for high profile individuals. Jim and his team have also dealt with such high profile cases as that of Margaret McAvoy –v- Robert Parker and the GMB Union for sexual harassment, Kate McQuade –v- The Ministry of Defence for the right to claim unfair or constructive dismissal and Ellen Shearer –v- The John Martin Group for sexual discrimination.
